About Fire Risk Assessment Hertfordshire
Fire Risk Assessment Hertfordshire is an independent introduction service. We put people who need a fire risk assessment in touch with independent assessors who work in Hertfordshire. We don't carry out assessments ourselves, and we aren't connected with Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, any local council, or the Home Office.
How this site works
You tell us about your premises, and we pass your details to one or more independent assessors who work in the area you've named, so they can contact you about a quote. We may receive a fee from an assessor for an introduction that leads to work, but this never changes what you pay.
Who the assessors are
The fire risk assessors we introduce you to are independent businesses, not employees or franchisees of this site. We don't inspect their work or vouch for any individual assessor's qualifications, so it's worth asking them directly about their training and experience before you go ahead.
Not connected with the fire service or councils
We are not Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, any Hertfordshire district council, or the Home Office, and we don't act on their behalf. The Fire Safety Order duty to have an assessment exists whether or not you use this site.
How we collect and label our data
Every figure on this site comes from a public source we can name, such as a council's own HMO register, the national Enforcement Register, official Home Office statistics, or published prices. We show the source and the date we collected it next to each figure.
Where enforcement or audit data is involved, we only ever show aggregated counts, grouped by district or premises type. We don't name any business, premises or individual from that data, and the same applies to price data, which we show only as aggregated ranges with a sample size, never attributed to a named firm. We review the figures on this site quarterly.
